Brian Luke serves as the President bluewater Crew Training USA, a maritime company that provides education, training and certification to professional mariners worldwide. He is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and general management of the company as well as the vision for a diverse multidisciplinary maritime training environment. In this role, Brian has helped establish bluewater as a respected, award-winning US Coast Guard and MCA Maritime Training Provider both nationally and internationally. Under his management, bluewater Crew Training USA consistently achieves year-over-year growth and in 2014-2015 he successfully guided BCT USA from a 5,000 SF training facility into a state of the art 45,000 SF Training Center complete with Transas Navigation, Radar, GMDSS simulators and indoor sea survival training pool. 1 ½ years later Brian was the catalyst in the merger between International Crew Training and bluewater resulting in BCT USA. From 2008-2013 he was a Senior Instructor and Examiner at the former ICT and over the years has successfully trained thousands of maritime crewmembers, helping prepare them for a lifetime at sea. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities Brian successfully fostered a unique and diverse career in both aviation and maritime industries. Starting in 1984 he attended and graduated from military flight training and holds qualifications in both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft. In 1989, he was recruited by the US Department of Treasury as both an agent and pilot working for the Air and Marine Division of the US Customs Service. During this time, he started gaining sea time and working towards his first maritime captains license. After 7 years as a U.S. Agent Mr. Luke left the Department of Treasury to pursue careers in both the airline and yachting industries. Brian has been a superyacht captain and is still a current airline pilot for a major US airline.
